AzYz Barrow a commencé sa carrière de disc-jockey dans les nightclubs du Québec il y a plus d’une quinzaine d’années. Aujourd’hui résident dans des clubs bien établis de la région de Québec, il propage avec plaisir ses mixes enthousiastes et sa sélection musicale de haute qualité qui s’adapte à toutes les situations.
Aussi à l’aise avec les sons qu’avec les images, les performances d’AzYz sont un judicieux mélange de musique et de vidéo pour une prestation globale authentique et unique. Figure de proue du nightlife, artiste respecté de ses pairs et inspirant pour les néophytes du genre, AzYz a su se bâtir une réputation d’efficacité, de solidité technique aux tables tournantes et finalement de…. bête-de-party ! Des atouts qui lui permettent de saisir l’ambiance de la fête et de toujours livrer la bonne marchandise, au bon endroit et au bon moment.

Originaly from Central Africa by his father and from eastern Europe by his mother, DJ AzYz has started his club career in Quebec-City’s nightlife in 1998, specializing first of all in Hip Hop and R&B and then opening his skills to Dance, House, Electro and to the extended use of surprising blends and mash-up remixes in his sets, produced by himself. As of now, he has expand his skills to the use of music videomix, mixing never less than 90% of his sets using music videos directly on the clubs screens, doing not only an audio mixshow but a video mixshow too.
It would be shorter to list the clubs in Quebec-City where he has had no residencies than listing the clubs where he had played since he’s started.
Very open-minded, the man who’s complete B.Sc and M.Sc in Physics, is known by local promoters, all bar-owners and other fellow djs to be a very solid and extremely versatile DJ one can always count on whatever size of the event they want to work on. He has been dj for the greatest urban shows in Quebec-City over the years, preparing the crowd and the atmosphere for some Intertional artists, French urban artists, Canadian Hip Hop artists & many great local rap artists. Wyclef Jean, Booba, Sinik, Kardinal Offishall, Choclair, K-Os, Psy4 De la Rime, Sefyu, Fonky Family, Ice Cube, Waka Flocka Flame are one of the many exemples he has opened for.
To the clubbers, the name AZYZ is associated with great sets of music, great hype, crazy parties, music versatility and always surprising mixing skills…
In fact, his skills includes everything a club dj need to please the crowds and even more. Various types of scratch, cuts, short & quick mixes, long chirurgical precision mix playing with various audio effects, blends or even taking the Microphone to hype the songs are just some of his weapons to make the job done and very well.
